Student Services
Accommodation and Transportation
International students can choose to live with homestay families, which we are pleased to arrange and coordinate. Students can also rent the apartments that are plentiful in the college’s neighborhood
The college is easily accessible by public transit, such as Skytrain and buses. We are ten minutes drive from downtown Vancouver. Students who drive to the college, can park in our secured underground parking lot.
Medical Insurance Coverage
Students are advised that medical insurance coverage is mandatory at all
times during their studies at Century College.
Canadian citizens and landed immigrants who have arrived in BC for more than three months are eligible for coverage through the Medical Services Plan of BC (MSP). International students and landed immigrants who have been in Canada for less than three months are not eligible for coverage through the MSP. They must obtain medical insurance covered by a private insurance company during the first three months of their stay. CCAB may provide information or arrange an insurance agent to process the temporary medical insurance for new students during the beginning of each semester. The cost for a 92-day coverage amounts approximately to $150.
CCAB reserves the right to de-register a student if s/he insists not having
medical insurance coverage .
