Programs: E-Business Management
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The growth of the Internet has transformed the world of business. Organizations are turning to the Internet to conduct a wide range of business activities, including sales, marketing, and research. This surge in Internet activity has created an entire new field known as ‘e-business’. Acquiring information this way becomes more important, and is very accessible, but at the same time can be too overwhelming to manage efficiently. As a result, managers must be proficient in the knowledge of e-business in order to successfully implement new business models, to extend business opportunities, and to reduce costs in this emerging global economy.
The
E-Business Management program is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the expertise required to effectively integrate standard managerial concepts with an e-business platform. Through this program, students will acquire knowledge of the new technologies, learn to approach business problems from both academic and practical perspectives, and learn to attain business goals with the use of information technology.
FUTURE PROSPECT
Upon successful completion of the full program, graduates will be qualified for junior positions in a wide variety of fields, but in particular in the areas of e-business, internet marketing, technical sales, system analysts, database systems and so on.
